MBB OHIO
 (MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS/BEREA/BROOK PARK)

PARENT RUN ORGANIZATION
Our mission is to offer year round sports training, competition, social outings and family support to children and adults with intellectual disabilities. All sports programs are coached by volunteers cleared by Special Olympics Ohio. Children are able to participate starting at age 8 with a filled out release/medical form and a parent present.

Meetings are held at the Middleburg Heights Library community room. For more information, contact our local coordinator, Ed Zigler.

FOR CHILDREN UNDER 8
Young Athletes is a unique sport and play program for children with intellectual disabilities, introducing them to the world of Special Olympics. The focus is on fun activities that are important to their mental and physical growth. Children ages 2-1/2 to 7 enjoy games and activities that develop motor skills and hand-eye coordination in addition to their social skills, making it easier for them to play and talk with other children on the playground and elsewhere.
