Team MBB is a Special Olympics Team serving Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Our mission is to offer year round sports training, competition, social outings and family support to children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
Our team welcomes all athletes with intellectual disabilities who have the desire to compete in athletics. Our trained coaching staff will insure all athletes have an enjoyable experience regardless of their ability level. YOUNG ATHLETES – FOR CHILDREN UNDER 8
Young Athletes is a unique sport and play program for children with intellectual disabilities, introducing them to the world of Special Olympics. The focus is on fun activities that are important to their mental and physical growth. Children ages 2-1/2 to 7 enjoy games and activities that develop motor skills and hand-eye coordination in addition to their social skills, making it easier for them to play and talk with other children on the playground and elsewhere.
